Marathon Burger, the beloved Los Angeles smashburger joint founded by Samiel โBlacc Samโ Asghedom in honor of his late brother, rapper and entrepreneur Nipsey Hussle, has officially opened its second location on the iconic Venice Beach Boardwalk.
The grand opening took place on May 31, 2025, at 1827 Ocean Front Walk, just steps from the basketball courts and Muscle Beach. After a successful debut on Melrose Avenue earlier this year, Marathon Burger is now serving its signature crispy-edged wagyu smashburgers, hot wings, and a new double cheeseburger featuring grilled onions, Fresno peppers, and a proprietary sauce. The Venice location also offers a vegan patty and a breakfast menu from 7 a.m. to noon, including French toast waffles and breakfast sandwiches.
Operating hours run from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. for dine-in and pickup, with late-night delivery available until 3 a.m. The restaurantโs design features a white exterior with red and black accents, providing outdoor seating for guests to enjoy the beach atmosphere.
